Apollo's Fire is pleased to honor...

Rick Kellar, President and CEO of Peg’s Foundation, a position he has held since 2005. Born out of personal experience, Rick challenges the status quo to advance access to behavioral health care, student achievement, and an appreciation for the creative arts. He believes Ohio can serve as a template for the nation, inspiring others to “Think Bigger!” The foundation helped Apollo’s Fire ‘think bigger’ in 2017 when it launched it bold new Community Access Initiative, breaking down economic and geographical barriers to the arts. Peg’s Foundation also awarded Apollo’s Fire the prestigious Impact Award for the Arts in 2019.

John Petures, President & CEO of the Akron Community Foundation. As a consummate nonprofit leader, the majority of John's 44-year professional career has been spent in development and senior management roles wherever he and his wife Cindy have lived, worked, and raised their three children. John has either led or been a member of myriad fundraising teams that have raised more than $1 billion for the betterment of these communities.
